For one thing, Britain only had two female monarchs in the 18th century – and one of those died before the century was 15 months old. For another, this is pretty much the subject matter of the 2018 Oscar–winning film The Favourite, so this is really not even a history question.

The Favourite was nominated for nine Oscars, including Olivia Colman for playing Queen Anne and Rachel Weisz for playing the Duchess of Marlborough (and Emma Stone for playing Abigail Hill, the Duchess's cousin and another member of the court). It won only one: Best Actress for Olivia Colman.
